Revelation 13 part 2, a pathetic false trinity

In today’s passage the dragon (Satan) and the anti-Christ are joined by a third person, a false prophet who uses force and deception to turn the world away from God and toward deadly worship of the beast.

In the first half of Revelation 13, the second half of the tribulation period is set in motion by the rising of a beast from the sea of humanity to reign in a kingdom for the devil. As worshipers of the real Christ, we see what a pitiful counterfeit the false one will be, and what will make the world fall for his deception.

Revelation 12 – the War in Heaven, the Woman (Israel), and the Dragon

As our study reaches the midpoint of the tribulation period to come after the rapture, things get exciting, as well as rewarding to learn about for every Christian. A woman who was a guest at our church this morning to hear this sermon commented afterward, “I’ve never heard these things taught in church before. We will be back next week.”
