At last night’s home fellowship, we looked at a very important topic from Philippians 3–the necessity of church leaders guarding the purity of the true gospel against the invasion of false teachers who try to do the impossible: blend faith and works as the basis of salvation. You can hear the study, which is one of the most necessary topics I’ve taught on this year, at this link.

Fear & Trembling, then Sigh of Relief
Tonight’s home fellowship, at which we were blessed with our biggest group ever, was a time of worship and study of Philippians 2:12-18, where we learned what it means to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” as God does a work in us and through us. The study audio is here for your listening. Hope it blesses you.
By what authority?

In the last message from Luke, Jesus was overturning tables of those who used God’s temple for their own money-making. In today’s study, Jesus turned the tables on them in another way. Thinking they could trap Him with a question He’d be unsafe to answer, He shows their true motives and their lack of authority to speak for God, when they thought they would expose His own lack of authority for ministry. The message from Luke 20:1-8 was recorded at the church this morning, in English and Romanian, and you can listen to it on streaming audio here.
My favorite passage
Tonight at the home fellowship, we studied a passage of the Bible that has probably been the most meaningful portion of scripture in my personal life, Philippians 2:1-11. The study audio, in English and Romanian, is available for your listening here, and I hope it blesses you in your walk of faith.
Philippians 1 Study audio
Here is the audio of Thursday night’s Bible study, which was part 3 of a study through the book of Philippians, and looked at chapter 1, verses 15-30.
A cleansed temple is a place of fruitful ministry

Today we looked at church at the last part of Luke 19, about Jesus’ cleansing of the temple, and the fruitful ministry that resulted from it. We also applied that to our individual lives and what we need Him to do in us for His glory. The message audio can be heard by clicking here, in English and Romanian.
Philippians Study
Last night at the home fellowship, we began a study through the book of Philippians. That study of the opening verses of the book can be heard in streaming audio by clicking here.
The study is in English and Romanian, and looks at the issue of who the word of God is for, can we interpret it for ourselves, and if so, what is the role of the church leader in teaching?
Zacchaeus
Today’s message at the church in Cluj was from Luke 19, looking at Zacchaeus, his life-changing encounter with Jesus, and what it all means to us. You can hear the audio online here. Hope you enjoy it.
Go for the Gold

Sometimes Christians say, “Just getting into heaven will be enough for me. I don’t seek a crown or reward from the Lord when I get there.” But Jesus, along with every New Testament writer, admonished us strongly NOT to think that way. We are told we should seek heavenly rewards, and one strong example of that is the parable Jesus told in Luke 19. That passage is the focus of the message I brought this morning at the church my Dad is pastor of here in Kentucky. You can hear the audio of that message here.
The Blessed, Happy Life

Here is today’s message from Calvary Chapel Garland, in which I taught on Psalm 1, looking at the road to a truly happy life, and the alternative road to avoid–the one that leads to a wasted life. Hope you enjoy the message.
Feeding on Jesus

What does Christ, and the church, really have to offer? A real relationship with the real God. That’s the focus of this morning’s message, which I brought from John 6 at Calvary Fellowship in Forney, TX. The message is, of course, in English only this time. And you can hear it here.
Keep praying

Keep praying always, and don’t give up. That’s the key to success, and the topic of today’s message at the church from Luke 18. You can hear the recording, in English and Romanian, here.
